YASAR DOGAN
Yasar Dogan is a non-practising Barrister and Solicitor Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience in both Civil and Criminal matters. He has considerable experience in providing advice and representation in a broad range of legal areas including Immigration & Nationality Law, Commercial Conveyancing, Business & Commercial Law, Civil Litigation, and Family Law.
Yasar Dogan specialises in Immigration and Nationality Law. He has provided specialist Immigration & Nationality advice and representation in asylum, visa, leave to enter and leave to remain applications under the Immigration Rules including the Points-Based System, human rights applications, applications under the EEA/EU Regulations including EEA Family Permits, Residence Cards and Permanent Residence Cards, applications for leave to remain as ECAA Turkish Workers and Self-Employed Persons under EC-Turkey Association Agreement (the Ankara Agreement), immigration bail applications, and applications for British citizenship. His clients include investors, entrepreneurs, business organisations, students, and family members of UK residents. He has a wealth of expertise and experience of conducting Immigration, Nationality and human Rights cases at every level from initial application to appeals to the Immigration Tribunal, judicial review applications previously to the High Court and now to the Upper Tribunal, appeals to the Court of Appeal and applications to the European Court of human Rights.
He graduated from University College London (UCL), University of London with an LLB (Honours) Law Degree in 2007. In 2008, he was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Inner Temple, having completed the Bar Vocational Course with “Very Competent” at BBP School of Professional Education. In 2011, he cross-qualified as a solicitor and in the same year he was awarded Higher Rights of Audience in both civil and criminal matters qualifying as a Higher Courts Advocate. In June 2017, he founded Redstone Solicitors. Before he founded Redstone Solicitors, Yasar Dogan provided legal advice and representation services as a Partner at Paradigm Solicitors, and as a senior legal advisor at Refugee & Migrant Justice and two major solicitors’ firms in London.
Yasar Dogan is also the author of numerous articles on legal developments, which have been published in various newspapers. His academic publication “The Fundamental Rights Jurisprudence of the European Court of Justice: Protection for Human Rights within the European Union Legal Order” was published in Ankara Law Review, Vol. 6, 2009, and references have been made to it in various publications by scholars based in different universities in the world.
